I wanted to try this one in a stitchery.
This is another gravestone image. Not all images are scary or creepy;)
I made this one for a bird lover, so I hope she doesn't mind a crooked piece.
I have another I put onto backing, but I plan on saving it for my trip. It has two birds and lots of lines.
I also noticed there are some old graveyards in our vacation area. When I mentioned it, I got "the look" from my husband, lol.

I love this. The stitching is beautiful and the border fabric is perfect. I know your bird lover is going to cherish this.
Take care,
~Karen~
Very nice fraktur and the fabric goes so well with the stitching!
looks great, love the flower...
I am intrigued with fraktur right now and have been doing a bit of research, you just may see a quilt based on it in the future!

I think this is wonderful! I am smiling at the mention of the "look" your husband gave you. I like going into cemetary's to look at the gravestones - especially the older ones. My DH thinks that I'm morbid!
Oh, I like this stitchery. Graveyards can be pretty interesting to walk around. Some neat tombstones and I like to read the names.
It's gorgeous!
I sure love the color you getting on your background.
