Name that picture GIveaway!

I have been doing some small items and working on things, so no new finishes.
I did start a new punch today, so that should be done by the end of the week, of course it contains a kitty and speaking of kitties, here is what my gang was up to today.

This is not the first photo, but this is the photo for the giveaway. Give me a funny caption for the photo and I will draw a name on friday night, July 15th. The winner gets their choice, of any one, of my epatterns.



And with that I will leave you with photos of the gang and why I limit their catnip;)







What really happened was that I got the catnip out and Dora came running. I threw some on the rug since I had to clean anyways. Dora loves catnip way too much.



And heaven forbid anyone who gets in her way;) It looks worse than it is, Izzy has no sense and tried to get some catnip before Dora was done and I don't even go near Dora till she tires out;) Once she left, then Moki got his turn.

Kitty Kapers

Today I got a scratching pad for the kitties. Basically cardboard and catnip, but worth a try.
It seems all the kitties cared about, was the catnip. Rolling in catnip is what my kitties love.
Izzy is the calm one, she rolls and makes happy faces.



Dora is another story, she is way to smart for her own good. I was doing something and when I came back, I found her and the bag of catnip on the bottom shelf.



Dora really gets into catnip, rolling is the first step, she has to rub it all in her fur.



Then some more frenzied rolling and contortions.



To falling in love with the object holding the catnip. At this point, I had to get my penny rug, before she went into her claw mode. I think l need child prove locks on the cabinets, but I can guarantee, Dora would figure that out too;)

Silly Saturday

Today I worked on my big runner some more. Just a bit more on one end and some little spots and I can go onto the border. The border will go faster, so hoping to have it done next week. Since I have nothing to show, I thought you would like to see the kitties are their best and worst.

Izzy like most cats loves my rugs, she sleeps on them and likes to hide in them while I am working. Her favorite game is hide and attack. Dora could care less, if I don't have a frame she can crawl into, she wants nothing to do with me. And yes, I like to wear silly jammies, these have bright colored kitties on them.



The cats love to play on the stairs, so I thought, why not put catnip on the stair rug. I took from another bag this time, I think this stuff was much more potent, lol. Dora starts out with her rolling and cute and as you can see by the progression of pictures, this is what she turns into. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Izzy made the mistake of trying to join in on the fun. Izzy is not too smart, Dora plays rough, even when she is not on catnip.



And then she calms down and we are back to her cute phase.

Party Night

It is sad, I am sitting home working on projects on a Saturday night and my cats are having more fun with their own partying, haha. Dora and Izzy can go into high gear and go tearing through the house chasing each other. They run under, across, through and flying over everything.

I thought I would treat Dora with some catnip, like she needs it;) So tonight you can enjoy seeing the many faces of Dora on catnip, though it would be a lot funnier in video.

For starters, I put it on the bed, so I could take pictures, luckily I have an old spread on it until I finish my quilt. The first thing dora does is dive in and roll, smelling and eating her favorite treat.



You wonder why Izzy is not joining in on the fun? This is why, she tried and after Dora scared her half to death, by pouncing on her like a maniac, she retreated to the window to watch with wide eyed fear.



Once she had the bed to herself, Dora grabbed, crawled, rolled and flipped herself around the bed.





This goes on until it really hits her and now shes saying; " I am really going to have a bad hangover tomorrow, I am going to bed."

Catnip High

Dora loves catnip and she knows where I keep it, so it is in a cabinet she cannot open;)
I gave her some today, she loves to eat it and roll in it. And if anyone comes within her claw radius, you better watch out, she seems to think ripping you open is part of the experience. Izzy watched for a while and decided to stay clear, which meant flying through the air to land on the side of safety. Of couse I clicked to late and got her landing.

They both love to jump at things and at night I can hear the thump, thump as they land on the floor. The glass doors are their entertainment for the night, as they jump to try and grab the moths on the other side.



Dora can be vicious when she if on catnip, but then she zones out and goes into la la land, as you can see.



I finished a new piece today and once I finish it off, I will post a picture. I will have a pattern for it, as well as, the dog and kitty I still need to do.
