I am busy working on a secret project, so no new things to show you today;)
So, I thought I would show you something I made in the early 80's. This was during the country period, when things were cute and blue. This is a kitty I made, complete with flannel outfit and felt hat.
On another blog, someone asked, what do you collect and if you haven't figured it out, I collect cats, lol.
This piece is one my BIL gave me, he said it was too big for his cabinet, so I was happy to have it. It is by Sergio Bustamante and unfortunately, fallen a few times, so has some damage. the other kitties are ones my husband got me for my collection. I really need a better display area for my special cats. Every Birthday I got something with a cat and for Christmas, I got more, so I had to tell him, no more;) Now if I get one, it is either an antique kitty or something unusual I find in the thrifts. Like I have room for more, lol.

I have a few of those "country kitties" i've been replacing with "prim" kitties - You did a great job on her! Now how can you have too many kitties (okay i confess- i understand i'm in the same boat - it's got to be special and really unique these days! But seems i always find room!)
I am like you..I collect cats..real or fake..;) love them...;)
Oh, a post and a woman after my own heart. I have a huge collection of cats (every size, shape, color and kind) and five that are alive and furry. The live ones are my kids, my loves and (other than my husband), my reason for getting up each morning. After all, they need to be fed.
Hey Debbie...you did great with that country kitty! I, course, collect dog things. Always fun to see others' collections.
what a good job with the country kitty, so cute, you really do love kitties, you can always find room for stuff you love...
I had a thing a few years ago, I seemed to collect cats, especailly my sons, I know what cats you are really on about. :-)
