A Blue Day

We are getting storms again and were told a few flurries this afternoon, but it snowed for hours and dumped a few more inches.
And the real storm hasn't hit yet. The winds are picking up now, so it won't be long.

I took a photo of my backyard with the snow falling and made it into art. I think it has a haunted surreal look to it.
Why am I blue? A dear friend is going through a tough time right now and my heart breaks that I cannot be there for her.

Look for a new piece tomorrow and a new contest coming this weekend.

I'm sorry your feeling blue, Debbie. I'm sure your friend knows you'd do anything to be there with her right now.

I photo is super cool! It looks like it was taken from an old scary movie. :-)

Spring will be here soon. Sunshine is coming your way. I can feel it. Those spring flowers are going to be popping out before you know it.

Do you have any spring fabrics in your stash you can cuddle up with?

That photo is awesome, Debbie.

It's hard when the people we care about are suffering. I'm mostly a chronic worrier, but I try to envision things working out perfectly for the person and then send those thoughts out to them.
Wishing you peacefulness,
Courtney

Hope that today has brought you the same sunshine that has come to my house! It was a doozy of a storm - more snow than we were expecting for sure. But we got out very early and two hours later the drive and walks are cleared once again. Still lovin' the snow, but a break for some melting would be nice *s*
