The last month we have had a kitty wondering around in our back yard.
The other night he was at the basement window, looking in and Izzy was having a hissy fit.
Today he was out there again, so i took some dry food and let him eat that and he demolished it.
Then I gave him a little canned and he ate all that up too.
He is a large tuxedo, but underweight and today he looked a bit more scrappy and his eyes were watering, so worried about him being out in this cold weather.
I took some pictures of him with my zoom, so not as clear, but at least I can email them to our shelter and they might know if someone is looking for him. If he belongs to someone, they are not taking very good care of him and he is a sweet cat, just getting more wild from defending himself.
For those who do not know, I lost my beloved Black, 3 years ago. My daughter left the back cellar open and he went out and disappeared. When I saw this kitty, he looks so much like him, but the markings are different. Hopefully I can find his owner or get him to trust me, so I can get him out of the cold.

You're such a kind person. I hope he finds his home.
As long as you keep feeding him I bet you he'll get more trusting and you can bring him indoors. We have a little calico who came to us as a stray a few years ago, lived in our garage, but when we bought our house last year we brought her with us and she took to the house very well. What a pretty cat he is, I had a black and white tuxedo who lived for 18 years.
Aww, he's beautiful. Got some crazy whiskers goin' on there. You should keep him. Maybe he was "sent" to you:)

I hope you can find his owners, maybe he too is an escapee. I know our 2 would love to get out. He is a very handsome boy. ~Ann

What a handsome boy and thank you for looking out after him. Hopefully he will find his home, whether his "real" home or his home with you {wink}!

Oh no, poor dear! Karmen
He is so handsome. I hope you can soon catch him and bring him in. I am a sucker for kitties too. Good luck.

Ah, reminds me of our beloved kittie who adopted us while roaming our neighborhood. He was a great cat!!
I hope he finds a good home very soon. He's beautiful.
There has been several bloggers in the last several days posting about animals popping up on their door steps starved etc. One had to have a dog put down as it was too late to save her. I wonder if the colder weather is pushing them towards the homes? Either way, bless your heart for giving her some food and perhaps some day some lovin.
he is very handsome. You are doing good taking care of him. Hopefully you find him a home or can make him a home. :)
What a gorgeous boy. Thank you for feeding him ... it is a terrible thing to starve. I hope you are able to find a good home for him. Do you think he could find a home with you?
I have a feeling this cat has no more worries now that he has made your acquaintance.
He is a beautiful guy. Sure hope all turns out well for him.
