No finish Friday!

I seem to have the worst luck lately. Last weekend Bean, our pup was sick. So we couldn't go anywhere without him since he was having accidents in the house. Luckily new food and pumpkin got him back to normal. Then I got sick and have been sick all week, so today I stayed home and still coughing. I guess I got one of the bad flus and bronchitis, so on meds and hoping I can at least get out for a ride tomorrow. It is really beautiful out and this is the best time to go riding and hiking. Next weekend they are predicting rain.

I have not gotten too much done this week, but I started a needle felting project to keep my hands busy. I also have two quilts that need to be done next month, so I hope I can get my mojo back and get to work on those.

Since I haven't posted in a while, I thought I would share a few photos I took from the last weekends.  A few weekends ago we too the boys to Mount Misery. Since the boys can't do heavy hikes, we drove up the fire road to the base of the hill. They loved the climb up and being on top of the world.

Since it wasn't a long hike, we came back down and tried a new path. It was much longer than I thought, and the boys did good, though Alex was a little more tired than his brother and dad.

It came out to a road and past the old ammunition sheds, which the boys loved checking out.

One day Bill and I went to a preserve near by. It is a nice walk through varying terrain around a pond and past old farm fields.

The last thing I did, which perhaps was my downfall, was a walk around the paths, at the Boy Scout camp. It is such a beautiful place to walk and usually we are by ourselves. It is also nice since Bean can go off leash at the pond and play in the water.

I hope everyone is doing well and I hope I can get some time to visit everyone's blogs to see what you have all been up to.
