Sunday Paddle Giveaway!

We have been getting a lot of rain this month and this weekend was threats of storms. It was also very foggy on the bay, so we decided to stay close to home in the cove. Luckily it was high tide so we could paddle in the coves and get a nice long paddle in.

The nice thing was, the clouds kept the sun from beating on us, but it was still humid.

We took at break at the beach and enjoyed the views, at least what we could see of them. The bridge was shrouded in a fog bank.

We also enjoyed walking in the water and spied this.... What do you think it is?
I will choose a name on Wednesday night from ( any) right guesses and the winner can pick one of my epatterns or booklets.
This month is my 5th anniversary of blogging so look for weekly giveaways and a final giveaway of goodies,  at the end of the month.

Is it some type of Igneous rock which have trapped gas and produce bubbles from it's pores which the molten material the rock is formed from? Sheesh...can you tell I home-schooled my children? lol

Great photos.

my eyesight is so poor that even with glasses all I could see was water, lol. just met one of my neighbors and he moved from RI in 2005. both he and his wife retired from 30 yrs of education and decided to move clear to the other side of the USA!
reading your stories has made me decide that at the end of summer I am buying something to float on...when they go on sale!

Looks like a blob of goo to me.

Love all your photos when you paddle. You show places I'd never been to and I was born in RI. I don't have a clue what your picture is but looks like a clam of some kind hiding under the sand in a tide pool.

I love when you do these guessing photos. Boy this one has me stumped. Being from the Chesapeake Bay the blobs look like small jellyfish. But I don't know if its warm enough up in your waters for them. Can't wait to here what it is!

I couldn't actually see anything but water bubbles and since that has to be wrong! I'll guess a clam. I'm anxious to see what it is now! LOL
