I have been working on gifts for Christmas and this time I made a couple of pillows.
The peace pillow is a design by Lisa Bongean. The kit was gifted to me by my friend Sharon, it was fun to work with a kit and not have to think about what to use.
The second pillow is a pattern by Nancy Conn and was a featured pattern in the new Primitive Quilts and Projects magazine. Tonight I am working on another pattern from the book, in a punch needle piece.
Then I refinished one last halloween pillow. I had it made and sewed it backwards and resewed it backwards the second time, this time I got it right, lol. The pattern is by Tiffany of Primitive Blessings.

Love those bird pillows Debbie. You are getting lots of gifts done.
All I can say is, I wanna be on your Christmas gift list - and I LOVE your Halloween pillow!! Yikes girl!!! LOVE! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
Your pillows are fantastic! These will make nice gifts.
Those pillows are wonderful! I love the smaller bird pillow you made...beautiful! You sure sew fast!
Debbie, You are one fast stitcher - I just got my magazine Monday. I love the way you did the pillow from the magazine - I was really intrigued by the pinecone. I think I was drawn in by the layering effect.
ARGH - don't you hate when you make the same mistake twice?
I probably would have thrown that pillow into the undone pile to be ignored for sometime!!!

Those pillows look fabulous! Lots of neat stitches! Did you try the fusible web on the Peace pillow? I'd love to visit the Primitive Gathering shop one day.... :-)
Great job on the pillows! I love a kit once in a while too. You're right about how it's a break from all the deciding--you just get to sew!
Looking really good, Debbie!
Sweet pillows! You are really accomplishing a lot. Good for you!! Someone is going to be very happy with your hand made gifts :)

Cute! You're so good at getting that Prim look! Perfect! Cheers!
I like the pillows. Very prim looking. I have to get my magazine out. I didn't have time to read it when it came in the mail and had forgotten to pick it back up.
