Birthday Giveaway!

In celebration this month, I am having a giveaway to my followers.
I wanted to have something that everyone would like and hope I picked out something special that will suit most people's tastes.
As I get older, I learn what it really important in life, enjoying each day, my family and friends and my health. I may be a bit on the rickety side and have a lot more aches and pains, but have never had to deal with anything serious or life threatening, and I am grateful for all these things. I think this piece and pillow, say it all. The design is by Tiffany of Primitive Blessings.

One lucky winner will receive a mini stitchery quilt with a matching pillow and a piece of hand dyed camel hair wool.
You can use the wool in hooking, sewing or to make animals, if you are a doll maker. It is a deep red mottled wool, that is super soft. I was thinking it would be nice for a deer or a santa suit. I may add a surprise later, it all has to fit in a large envelope.

So, if you would like to win, all you have to do is leave a comment and tell me what type of decorations you have in your house for Christmas. Remember, you must be a follower of my blog and new followers are welcome. The giveway will be drawn on Sunday, November 21st. As an added special, you can buy any pattern on my ecrater site and receive one free, just let me know what your free choice is, in the comment box. And I will also be working on something special for everyone, as well.

I Thank you all, for finding my life and creations interesting enough to read and for all of the wonderful comments I have received.

What a generous give-away. Please throw my name in the hat.
I have a very eclectic style of decorating for Christmas. I have a little of everything. My favorite items are the ornaments my boys made when young, things my mom had made and special items from family and friends.
Happy, happy birthday and many, many more.
Hugs :)

Hi Debbie, Happy Birthday. My goodness, how do I decorate for Christmas? Well, the tree has a collection of decs that I started 35 yrs ago. Every year I add to the collection and now there are all sorts of decs, every thing from glass to brass and of course plenty of cloth ones too and then the special ones made by and for my wonderful family. The house has a lot of patchwork/quilting celebrating the season. As it's Summer here we have to be careful with the natural greenery as it dries and dies so quickly in our heat.
I truly love the Christmas season and how it brings out the best in people.
Thank you for the chance to be in your birthday draw.

happy day! As much as I love primitive, my decorating is probably more country than prim - my family just won't go for anything extreme. BTW - whatever has happened to Tiffany Carnal? I haven't seen her posting anywhere for a long, long time - wonder if she has a blog?

I have a few ornaments from friends that are special too. Thanks

Happy Birthday month!! I really can't say what style I decorate with. So many decorations are hand made when my kids were little or special tokens while on vacation. Oh yeah, eclectic! I bit of everything.

Oops! Got so excited about your giveaway I forgot to tell you about my Christmas decorations - they are of course all primitives with white twinkle lights and different kinds of evergreens. Sometimes we have a real tree and sometimes not ... just depends. I will be posting some of my handmades that I've made for myself after Thanksgiving so I hope you'll stop by then.

Happy birthday for your birthday Debbie. Hope you have a great day. With an extra purr around I'm sure you will.
The cottage windows are always decorated with lights. The bear sits next to a real Christmas tree. I has to be a real one. Lots of holly and Christmas cards. Best of all Christmassy smells all around from oranges decorated with Cloves, nuts and flowers on tables, boring really. :-) No tinsel ! xxx

I already follow your blog. Happy Birthday and would be pleased to be in the drawing for one of your handmades. Now that we have downsized, my mother and I put up a small tree decorated in a theme from decorations we have. I have "sitting around stuff"- decorations of sleighs, Santas, candles/holly, etc. The special piece is a music box nativity scene. This year I made a 12 days of Christmas wall hanging. We also have poinsettas.

Happy Birthday! How wonderful of you to do this. I will also post this on my blog!
