New Bunny punch and Sampler

This piece was inspired by an old cross stitch sampler. It looked like a rabbit or an odd deer, but the shape made me think rabbit and I redid it into my own pattern. I used the original rabbit head and designed around that. I really love how it came out. It has a primitive old world look to it.

This weekend we had an ornie retreat, so I decided to make the design into a cross stitch as well. I still have to work at making my designs into cross stitches, but not bad for a newbie;) I am offering both of them on ebay this week, though if the bids do not start by the end of the week, I may have to take them down. I put way too much work into them, to let them go at a last minute low bid. I am sure you fellow crafters can understand that.

I LOVE the one on the top, just beautiful. What would be an acceptable price/bid for the one on the top?
I am so impressed with how much you get done.

Wonderful job with your pieces! I understand perfectly what you are saying about selling your items. Too much time goes into them to just give them away.

Well, right now there is no bid at all. So I am assuming if anyone is going to bid, they are waiting till the last minute. I have had some really nice pieces go low, one person bid and no one bid against them. But, the person who bid knew the value and loved the piece, and that meant more to me than the price.

I really have a hard time pricing punch pieces, even rugs I price lower. It takes me a few days to make a punch piece and the same with the cross stitch. If I went by the per hour amount, it would be double of what I put for buy now.

It is just one of the pitfalls of ebay, you just never know if the right buyer is buying the week you list.

I love cross-stitch, but have never needle-punched. Your beautiful things make me want to try it.

Karmen,
I think you would enjoy it. I started out with a cheap punch from the store and a hoop. I use a frame now and prefer that, it is a box frame and easier for me to punch for long periods without hurting my back and ribs.

I was thinking kitty needed a pirate patch, but I think she would lose it. Thanks for your support. I enjoy your comments.
