Valentine Candle Mat and Giveaway Day!

I wanted to make a candle mat and wanted something simple, but nice, so I designed my own. I did a simple stem design with some hearts and I think it came out nicely. I am trying another one and plan on making more and trying some new designs.

For today's giveaway, I have two 6 month gift certificates for the Quilt Show. I will pick two names from today's comments. I would like to know what you think of my new design, do you like them simple or more detailed and what types of designs would you like to see in the future? Would you want a single pattern to print out or a detailed pattern with instructions? I will leave the contest open until Monday night, the 21'st at 9pm EST.

Sweet candle mat. I especially like the vine around the border. You always do great work. I'm sure your pattern will be a big hit when you release it. :-)

A giveaway? Sounds fun! I don't know what the quilt show is, but someone is gonna be a happy camper... or would that be quilter? lol

This one is adorable !!! Wish I was better at handwork but I'm a "machine" kind of gal. My hands and eyes don't do handwork justice. But, you, Dear Lady, "master" handwork!

Like me, I like simple. LOL

I like a combination...sometimes simple sometimes detailed. I would love to see some beautiful pincushion patterns. This particular photo looks a little blacker than brown and I love the old brown look. you amaze me.

As always...wonderfully simple. Which, I guess, answers your question about my preference. No need to enter me in your giveaway...just wanted to comment on your lovely work.
