The pattern comes from Jan Patek's Angels book. I did some star stitching and there are x's on the top and bottom parts, but they got washed out in the photo. I added a little apron to my angel, an idea I liked in a pattern by Cheri Saffiote.

Love it, love the saying.
LOVE this - love the saying, I've never heard that before. This is absolutely darling!!!
It's a beauty! Looks like you mixed some wool in with the cotton... The apron on the angel is just right! :-)
So dang cute...great job.
Just beautiful, it was pleasure visiting your blog, I'll have to stop in more often.
Blessings Vicki
I love her! I can just envision her as a painted mural in a nursery *s*
sweet, the apron is perfect.
I really like your angel! It's so cute.
OMG, I love it! So cute! I love angels too! So love the one you made for me! It's hanging on my stash door, in constant view as a reminder of your kindness and generosity! Doing a bit of catching up before I hit the sewing machine. So behind! But... slowly catching up! Hugs!
