Spring Bird PunchNeedle!

Sometimes I just have to have a book and Bonnie Sullivan's book, Bonnie's Garden was one of them. The book is filled with a lot of wonderful wool projects for quilters, rug hooking and a punch needle project. I plan on making a few of the projects, but I thought I would start out with something small and this is the result.

It is a small piece, 4" x 3" and a perfect piece to hang from my peg rack.

I thought I would share some giveaways when I see ones, that I think you would like. Marylou Weidman has a wonderful blog and I love to visit every day and see all of the fun and wonderful pieces that she and her classes create. A memory quilt is a fun idea to make for yourself or a family member, so be sure to visit her blog for inspiration and enter into her newest contest.

  8. I have to tell you that I'm in love with this bird! Wish it were mine. As you know I have no patience for this and gave away all the supplies. Then I see pretty pieces like this one and get irritated I can't do it.

  15. I wondered what rug hookers do with all the small pieces they make. I hadn't thought about being able to hang them on a peg. Good idea and good bird.
