We went for a sunday drive today, it was cold, but the sun was shining, so nice day to get out.
We like to take the scenic routes, so we checked out the rivers, hit a few shops and then went to check out the breachway.
Well, we took the wrong road and ended up at a new place, we had never been. Always a nice surprise to find something new and a new place to launch our kayaks. We will definitely come back and paddle around this beautiful spot. As you can see, Moki had fun today at the beach too;)
And to show you that I don't always buy prim fabrics and have been building a secret stash of batiks, to play with.
I want to do some art pieces, so when I hit a quilt store, I like to get fat quarters that have nice patterns. I also found the black paisley and think it will make a beautiful border for a fratur style quilt.
Gotta love the batiks! Moki at the beach...hahahahaha!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever seen a cat at the beach! Thanks for sharing.

really pretty fabrics Debbie. Cute picture of Moki on the beach. Just waiting for summer and you snapping a picture of him in the kayak with you :)
ReplyDeleteGreat selection of fabrics, Debbie!!! The fraktur sounds good... and then the scraps can be used for something Halloween... something like an artsy treat bag?
ReplyDeleteDid you really take Moki with you? Or is that photoshopped? lol Our cats don't like car rides at all! But then, they probably associate it with going to the vet.
ReplyDeletePretty fabrics!
