Life with Moki!

I had one of those days, so I didn't get to finish my new mini quilt, hopefully this weekend.
Besides life's many interruptions, I have to deal with Moki all day. He seems to be in a hyper mood this week and can't sit still.
He also likes to make me crazy and one way is to climb on the dining table, and knocking half the stuff off my shelves, when he jumps to the kitchen cabinet. As you can see, I get the look, he can be quite the smart alec.

And he cannot go find a nice spot to take a nap, no he has to sleep behind me while I work on projects in my chair. And he doesn't curl up, no he has to stretch out and kick me in the head or stick a paw in my face;)

  4. I need to take a pic of Halle...she is one of 4 tuxedo babies that belong to our neighbor down the street. They visit us several times a day and Halle is usually the one to count on to be here!!! Looks just like Moki! I adore my cats and enjoy being their staff!!! LOL! So nice to have a "work partner"! Hee hee!

  6. Maybe it was something in the air? Maybe it was Friday Cat Fever? Daisy was the same way. Drove me nuts and kept getting into mischief, wouldn't go sleep in her cat bed or on the window sill. She'd jump in my chair every time I got up, or stretch out across the ironing board, or on the sewing machine extension table or the cutting table. Got to love them, but oh! Some Days!!

  7. My kitty Talula does the same thing, she's always on the prowl. We gave up a long time ago trying to keep our cats off things, they do what they want. And she's the same way, whenever I go to my sewing room to sew, she always wants to be sitting on my lap. I think he just wants to be right by you all the time because you rescued him, you're his human.

  11. But I'm sure you just gotta love him! :) We let one of our outdoor boys in the house when it started getting cold. He is loving it, but he is far more playful than we are use to. And Sarah has a new playmate! :)

  13. Kitten broke some pretty significant art objects her first year in the house. Now she seems content with unrolling bath tissue. I think he will probably calm down, don't you? Karmen

  15. Moki loves you so.

When I dropped off quilts with my longarmer I noticed her two cats were sleeping in their cat beds on a table. They have her trained to put out their beds, in a certain spot with sun, after they've had their lunch.....I didn't know you could train a cat to do that. Mine always wanted to be on my lap or shoulder when I quilted.

  17. Pep - the father of Deuces, Moki's cousin, I'm sure since he looks and acts very much like him, said that Moki just wants to make sure you're not bored or lonely.
