Guess who came to visit today. He had a little dry and ate a whole can of food.
Once he had his fill, he enjoyed rolling and relaxing, where he knew he was safe.
As you can see, his new name is MOKI. I have been calling him My Outdoor Kitty, so I added an i since MOK was not quite right, lol.
As long as I sit on the step, he is content to lounge around and relax, but he still is jumpy with noises.
He even relaxed enough to show me is tuxedo stare;)
Of course a certain lady was not too thrilled to see me outside without her, never mind playing with someone else.
And Moki was very interested in her. A few times he went to the cellar steps and stared at the door, so I think he wants to stick around, but then as always, he trots off into the woods. This week will be warmer, so that is good and hopefully he will come back more and get used to staying. I sent a photo to our shelter to see if someone is missing him and will call the others.
Debbie - he is so handsome! I have always wanted a tuxedo - they are such good cats! Can't wait to hear when he takes over your house!
ReplyDeleteHey Debbie! He certainly looks healthy and well-cared for! I wonder why he's on the loose.
ReplyDeleteCute kitty and I love the name. I had a tuxedo kitty for 19 years...she was the sweetest! Hope he sticks around for you.
ReplyDeleteMoki is a darling kitty kat!! I hope he stays, too, although your house kitty will probably not like that!! Mine would be very upset if I brought him a playmate!!!

Debbie - that is so sweet of you to look after MOK / MOKI! He is SOOOOO handsome. I do hope he becomes less skitterish before winter arrives. You're a doll :)... Donna
ReplyDeleteI had a cat years ago just like that. I called him TJ, for tuxedo jacket, and he was my baby. I hope you keep him and he gets to know your other cat so he can come inside. You will have to keep us up on him.
