I have to admit, I love freebies on the web and I love the fact that so many great designers offer designs for us to do.
One person who does wonderful folk art is Robin of Bird In The Hand Primitives. I added the kitty from another of her doodles, of course I had to add a kitty;) I will be offering this piece for sale on ebay, not sure if I will do it tomorrow or wednesday.
I also started another of her designs that she offered, so I will show you that when it is done. I wanted a brain break this week and it is fun making punches from such a great designer.
Wowsa !! You did such a fantastic job !! I love thelittle kitty with it !! I really love the colors you chose also !!!

Just wonderful Debbie...love the pattern from Robin...now I can't wait to make one too!
ReplyDeleteYour punches are so perfectly even...
How fantastic! Love the colors. I really need to pick your brain a bit on doing needlepunch one day!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome, I am just beginning to develop an interest in wool and rug hooking. Is punch needle another name for rug hooking or is it something completely seperate in itself? Just beautiful! :)
ReplyDeletePunch needle is with a pen tool and you punch the loops in with floss. With rug hooking, you use a hook and pull up the loops from the front, using wool strips.

Hi Debbie~ thanks so much for visiting me and for your sweet and thoughtful comment. I do find that walking helps me as swimming does for you. Unfortunately I don't always take the time to do that and I guess I need to.
ReplyDeleteYour punched pillows are so sweet! I love them both!! I hope you do well with your auction.
Hugs~ Birgit
