Izzy always watches as Dora goes up to the sink for a drink.
Dora only drinks out of sinks, Izzy prefers toilet water and dirty sink water, ugh.
Today Izzy got up and watched Dora this time and when Dora left, Izzy finally decided to give it a go.
Here she is contemplating how the water is coming out and how she is going to get some herself.
She finally braved sticking her tongue in the water. I had to do a drip for her, Dora prefers the water to run slowly.
As you can see, she is very happy with her new found skill. I guess I need to buy an indoor fountain for them;)
He has the cutest face!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOne of our cats used to do that. It's so cute!
Awe, Izzy looks adorable drinking at the sink...
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, how cute! My Mr. B was a toilet water drinker! I loved your photos!... Donna
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute series of pictures!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Why is it that animals like running water....I guess maybe that way they know it's fresh...who knows?
ReplyDeleteI will have to hide these pictures from Lonnie...he drinks out of the toilet, but if he sees these pics he's going to want me to leave the water dripping for him in the sink....he's for sure tall enough to drink out of the faucet :)
Too cute! Our furry babies really are a hoot to watch sometimes huh? :)
ReplyDeletePrecious!!! Where I used to live in an old farmhouse, I would watch the momma cows teaching their calves to drink out of the running water spiggot that was close to the fence! I got pictures too. Aren't animals great?
ReplyDeletehahaha...that's so fun, Debbie! My brown boy, Jigs, would drink out of the tub faucet. Got so he'd stand in the bathroom and wait for me to come turn the water on for him. How fun was that!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, too funny!! I guess you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! LOL Oops i mean cat! lol I think she's jealous of Ms. Explorer!! :)
ReplyDeleteSeveral of my cats love to do this too. I don't mind it too much but it drives me crazy when they wait until they get into the hallway to shake their heads. I end up with water spots all over the floor and walls. Grrrrr!
