A few years ago, I decided I wanted to paint my wall with a scene and this is the result. I used acrylic paints and some templates and a lot of freehand. It took me weeks to paint and I soon got tired of doing it and never did do the shadowing and finishing touches. So, it still sits on the wall and some day I will have to wash it off, but for now it will stay.
I would love to do more realistic pictures on some of my walls, but I do not have the time, energy or patience to do a nice job, so I will decorate my walls with my art pieces.
Holy Schmoly, woman...that is awesome! Wish I had that kind of talent...that'd be so cool to have murals on my walls!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't know if I would call it talent, lol.
ReplyDeleteI just did the best that I could, but would love to do a real mural with the trompe d'oeil effect.
I was going to extend it into the hallway, but only got as far as the grass and sky colors.
