Hexagon Borders

Today I got the borders done on my hexagons.
I decided to just trim off the edges and even it out.
Then I took the scraps from the flowers and pieced them together to form the first border.
Then I took black and put that around for the edging.
After I get the ties done, I will take about an inch of the black and fold it around to the backing, for my binding.

On the Moki front, he came for breakfast today and then wandered off. I think he had a rough night, he looked thinner and was really skittish.

Your hexagon quilt is gorgeous. My goodness you keep busy. You run circles around what I accomplish, that's for sure!

Debbie, I love your hexagon quilt! Great way to take a traditional style quilt and make it primitive! Homespuns are my favorite!!!! It makes me want to tear through my sewing room and find that bag of hexagons I started 12 years ago!! Jeni

Wow Debbie! The black just makes everything pop. Love it.
Did you sew them all together by hand? Thanks for the pix.

LOVE that hexagon quilt!!!! I want it!!! ;-) I think you need to attach a mini camera around Moki's neck so we can find out what he's up to... it does sound like he knows how to find exciting stuff! I know (from my college days) that coming home thin and tired meant that I had a FUN time!!!! LOL!
